Kelly Nightlinger - local Conservation Officer- is hosting a youth camp August 11-14 /2008.
The camp is free for children who are either in foster care or who have lost a parent.
This is an outdoor adventure camp that will include camping, kayaking, backpacking, archery and other out door activity.

Antique Snowmobile Museum Set for Naubinway
Local snowmobile enthusiasts working to build an Antique Snowmobile Museum in Naubinway. The Top of The Lake Snowmobile Museum, LLC has incorporated as a 501©-3 corporation. The sponsoring group is hard at work organizing this new venture. A board of directors has been elected, a site has been selected, and a business plan is being developed.
The site is located in Naubinway on the north side of US-2 across from the business district. The planned campus will include display space for up to 180 snowmobiles, parking for 50 +vehicles, a snowmobile literature library, and a conference center for the Naubinway Elders group of the Sault Ste. Marie Chippewa Tribe. The museum board is currently seeking funds to construct this museum and is accepting all donations.
